Mr Dolan at Pinkwell has put together a great and emotional movie from the Murray Jam last weekend. I think you get an idea for how good the atmosphere was and how much support and love there is for Stephen Murray and his family. Stay Strong mate

Cheltenham is only a 1/2 hour drive away from us in Bristol but I havent been there in many a year. The riders there have put out some good videos for a while (Chelt BMX), and it looks like they’ve got a good scene. Maybe we should go pay that park a visit, they make it look alot of fun. Anyway, this new film from them is sweet. Makes me wanna ride although I think I might trade my bike in for a submarine if this damn rain perists.
Brad Wakefield took some sweet photos (Above:Craig Stevens) at the Project 360 thingamybob this weekend…. Read more… »
I built up a spanking new United 40 frame (The Forte Bro’s signature frame). Chuffed to bits with it. Probably the easiest bike I’ve ever put together. Nicely made and everything slotted in a treat. She’s a beauty. Thanks to Crucial scott and Dom for helping with tools, new bits and what not. Big thanks to the Forte’s and to United for sorting me out. Ta. Anyone wanna buy a matt black united trinity frame (20.5)? Get intouch from the contact page.
Ah man, the Murry Jam is over until next year but hey, what a day! (and night). The sun even popped his head out for us just like last year. The trails were running sweet and the crowds had a festival vibe that made the day so damn good. The party was real good fun but over all too quickly. Jay’s brother Chris Aliano put on an amazing show with his new band Stages of Dan, and then a set from the DJ Gunner and Double D MC brought on the smiles.
I didnt get any photos this year, sorry, I’m sure they’ll start popping up elsewhere tho. Thanks to Martin and the rest of the Murray family and of course Jay Aliano, his dad and bro’s for hosting the event at their awesome backyard heaven. Cheers to all the sponsors and the supporters who showed up and made sure Stephen Murray continues to get our support and love. Stay Strong. Cant wait till next year. If you couldnt make it maybe you could make a donation?
Team 2&8 took a Monster haul at the Project 360 event in Bristol this weekend. Craig took 2nd and Colum grabbed 3rd on the Monster Spine Ramp. Well done fella’s. Dead proud of you. Cameron Hardy tore it up to take the win. Apparently it was all a bit wild, wish I could have been there to cheer em on but the rest of us were at the Murray Jam.
Dig 66 is out and rockin a photo by Ricky Adam of our Leo Forte on the cover at Empire of Dirt. Savage whip, nice on Les. There’s plenty in this issue to gorge on…. Read more… »
Don’t forget the Stephen Murray BMX Jam is this weekend. Saturday the 30th August to be precise. Get down there and show your support. Its an amazing opportunity to go to one of the most amazing private riding spots ever Upton / Aliano’s Trails) and to be able to help a brother out at the same time. Here’s a article about last years event
Congratulations!
August 28th, 2008 | Posted in familySeems like a good month for some people. First off congratulations to team rider Toby Forte and his girlfriend Jess for getting engaged! Amazing. They moved to Bristol last week and can see my house from their window, stoked to have them as my neighbours. Nuf tea.
Next up, much love to my old house mate and partner in many crimes, Slimy Pete and his now wife Fiona for getting married a couple of weeks ago. Chuffed for you both. You may have seen Pete’s car at the 2&8 Worcester Jam or at NASS, a 6.6ltr Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, in true white trash style Pete thought it would be a great weeding car. His exit from outside the church with his new wife was smokin.
Now thats a wedding car.
Shout out to Paul Dog (Epsom Trails) and wife Nora for popping out another little baby, congratulations to you guys too.
